Today, 23/04/2026, PCSO Sims and I were on foot patrol. Regular high‑visibility patrols are carried out within the ward to engage with residents and build trust within the local community. This positive engagement has led to residents feeling confident to share intelligence with officers. Acting on information received, a search was conducted which resulted in the location and seizure of 25 individually packaged bags of cannabis. Community intelligence plays a vital role in enabling effective patrols, proactive policing, and the prevention of crime.
